MDC-T members dispute defections of activist to Zanu-PF

The MDC-T members have disputed claims by Zanu-PF that some of its members in Harare defected to the ruling party and demanded evidence that the so called MDC-T members were real card carrying members.

Scores of former MDC-T members who have defected to Zanu-PF have related how Mr Morgan Tsvangirai deceived them, saying he is the only one with the keys to unlocking the revival of the Zimbabwean economy.

According to government controlled ZBC, the defectors handed over their MDC-T regalia and presented themselves before the Zanu-PF Harare Provincial leadership in Budiriro, Harare.

The former MDC-T members said they had realised how much Tsvangirai has contributed to the destruction of Zimbabwe's economy through calling for sanctions and constantly lying that he is the only one with solutions to challenges bedevilling Zimbabwe at the moment.


The Zanu-PF Harare Provincial Political Commissar, Shadrack Mashayamombe welcomed the new members saying the party is happy to have those who have seen the light and are willing to work for the good of the country.

The MDC-T has been blamed for the economic challenges facing the country by calling for sanctions which have adversely affected the economy and led to the closure of industries leaving thousands jobless.

But party staunch members said all what Zanu PF was saying were lies and demanded proof.
Tendai Chibanda decsribed the claims as Nonsensical.

"What has ZANU POVERTY FRONT done for us in the 35 years they are misruling this potential land of honey and milk?" he asked.

Wonder Sigauke said, "Just give us an evidence that is impossible who are those members name them
Kuda Musere said the alleged move by Zanu PF to frame MDC-T was  the highest level of stupidity!
"We will never be free," he said.
