Temba Mliswa wins farm battle against Zanu-PF

The High Court has upheld an application by former legislator for Hurungwe West Temba Mliswa seeking the eviction of illegal occupiers of his Karoi Spring Farm, a restaurant, a service station and lodge.
Mliswa approached the High Court on an urgent basis last Thursday seeking the eviction of political activists cited as Nigel Murambiwa, Chinjayi Kambuzuma, Tapiwa Masenda and Silas Chimbiri who are alleged to have forcibly occupied his properties last Wednesday.
According to court papers, the respondents ejected all patrons at Mliswa's restaurant, and locked it up.
They proceeded to the lodge and ordered everyone out before going to the farm house which they occupied.
He said his 400 cattle were stranded without pasture since the illegal occupation.
It emerged after the matter which was held in Justice Chinembiri Bhunu's chambers that the 4 respondents consented to an order for the return of the farm to Mliswa.
