The Zimbabwe Union of Journalists (ZUJ), on Friday last week launched a book titled "The Back Story" in Harare at the Book Cafe as part of commemorating World Press Freedom Day.
This was revealed by the union's official Chipo Majuta.
"The Back Story is the work by Zimbabwean journalists and the initiative was conceived out of the need to explore ways in which journalists could investigate stories and the challenges they face while doing their work," said the official.
The official said the Union's Secretary General , Foster Dongozi said "Journalists should not write stories only but should cultivate a culture of publishing books for future generations and as a personal investment".
"This year's WPFD commemorations are running under the theme: Let Journalism Thrive! Towards Better Reporting, Gender Equality, and Safety in the Digital Age" said the official.
