Political commentator and media scholar Pedzisai Ruhanya has agreed with the AFROBAROMETER's research findings which purported that the people have lost hope and trust with the opposition political parties and now prefer President Robert Mugabe and his Zanu PF because of bad decisions that the opposition MDCs have of late been resorting to.

"AFROBAROMETER research findings are spot on," said Ruhanya

"Why should the Zimbabwe public trust an opposition that is in disarray, constantly fighting each other, chasing each other from Parliament, descending and not ascending with morbid symptoms all over and with others celebrating their opponents in ZANU PF daily?.The public does not owe the opposition anything if it does not exhibit political maturity, national focus and serious thought leadership on the decomposing political economy."

He said at this moment, why should the opposition be trusted; simply because they oppose an authoritarian regime that they mimic daily? "There is no organisation at all, just busy fighting each other even after some's congress is over. SPOILED BRATS," he said.

Eddie Mahembe said a possible follow up research is needed as the Afrobarometer's findings were a bit strange.

Alex Magaisa said all concerned Zimbabweans might need to be shamed by this. "How can we stand up and look ourselves in the mirror and say we trust President Mugabe to take us forward. To where?" he said.

Arnold Chamunogwa asked at to which one is the biggest tent in town now. "Mugabe's legacy could be at play," he said.
