THE MDC Renewal Team Spokesperson Jacob Mafume said it is not possible that as opposition and people in general they should be forced to be silent over mistakes done by the old rulers of Zanu-PF who have driven the country into economic crisis for so long.

Through his facebook post Mafume said why should the people be always  asked to be polite to these old men.

"They are in their old age worse in behaviour than an eighteen year old who is failing to control his hormones," he said. "What have they done to gain our respect but eat into their past and destroy our future. They harness us in false hope at the expense of our lives even yet they grow fatter and their excesses are the stuff of huge volumes of books."

Mafume said the leaders have no right to demand respect from our generation nor will they get it .

"They must move over and allow us to take this struggle in our own way.We will stand to win or lose it on our efforts and not by paying homage to the past actions of those who are squatting on our present and trespassing on our future," he said. "They heap insults on us but expect us to be youths to senile old men.Being younger does not mean we are youths. They cannot read their best before date even if it slaps them in their faces."

"I think it must stand to reason that it is better to face harsh facts than to live in false hope. They stand over the country as little gods but all they dispense is pestilence and horrors straight from Satan himself."

President Robert Mugabe and his Zanu-PF has been accused of running down the economy of the country since the attainment of independence in 1980.
