Zanu-PF commissar Saviour Kasukuwere's political future is on the ropes as war veterans have ganged up against him over imposition of candidates for June 10 by-elections.
The veterans also attack the 'GANG OF FOUR' accusing them of selling out to the imperialists.
War veterans said in a statement issued today by secretary general, Victor Matemadanda : "We are aware of the unholy alliance that is forming between the Americans and the British on the one hand and some politburo members on the other."
"These politburo members have started selling out to the imperialists on the promise that they will be given heaven on earth if they remove President Mugabe from power.
"The so called group (gang) of 4, 6 or any other number is hereby warned to stop whatever dreams they have that they can become prime ministers or presidents if they help to cause the un-governability of Zimbabwe as a means of achieving regime change."
Kasukuwere according to media reports leads a pack of "Young Turks" known as "Generation 40" within the ruling party that has in its ranks Information Minister, Jonathan Moyo and Mugabe's nephew Patrick Zhuwawo.
