Man caught urinating in public bashes female cops

A MAN who was caught in the act by two female police officers while urinating in public near Manor Hotel in Bulawayo later attacked the two cops leaving them nursing injuries after they arrested him and were taking him to the Bulawayo Central Police Station.
Tyson Ncube (20) of Emakhandeni was not asked to plead to the charge of assaulting peace officers when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Merlyn Mutshina. The magistrate granted him $50 bail and remanded the case to a further date for the start of trial.
The court heard that on May 5, 2015 the police officers from Bulawayo Central Police Station, Kudzayi Garwe (26) and Rhodah Ndlovu were on patrol at corner 9th Avenue and Hebert Chitepo Street in Bulawayo when they saw Ncube urinating in a public place and arrested him.
They allegedly ordered him to go with them to the police station and along the way he attacked Garwe on the left shoulder and she sustained injuries as a result. He also attacked Ndlovu on the write arm leading her to sustain some injuries. Ncube was later arrested for the assault case.
