Spirit mediums to host Mugabe

President Robert Mugabe is due to attend a gathering with scores of spirit mediums in Gweru to witness the rise of King Munhumutapa (Rozvi) later in the month.
The Ministry of Local Government, Public Works and national Housing has dispatched appeal in Gweru seeking donation for the event.
According to a letter seen by Bulawayo24 News, Chief Mkoba said the cash donations would "ensure the successful hosting of the event"
"There shall be a Monomotapa traditional kingdom meeting to be held at Mazangwe Primary School, Rubi area.
The gathering is set for May 27.
"His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Cde R. G Mugabe will be the guest of honour.
"The meeting will also be attended by Spirit Mediums, Traditional Leaders, War Veterans and as well as government officials from all the 10 provinces of Zimbabwe would gather at the venue specified to revive the Monomotapa Kingdom.
"Chief Mkoba as the hosting traditional leader is hereby appealing for donations in cash or kind to ensure the successful hosting of the event," wrote Chief Mkoba.
