Joice Mujuru rises concern in her husband's failure to escape

Vice President Joice Mujuru has expressed concern at how her husband failed to escape from a bedroom with large windows which their grandchildren playfully used as entry and exit points.

"There are two long windows that if you want to go out, you do not need to jump but to just lift your leg and you are out. So sometimes one would wonder how a military man failed to escape," she said.

Retired General Mujuru died in an inferno at his farm house on Tuesday last week and was laid to rest at the National Heroes Acre on Saturday.
