'We gave Tsvangirai our daughter,' says Kasukuwere

Zanu-PF National Political Commissar Saviour Kasukuwere, has urged party supporters to vote for his party and return Harare to Zanu-PF.

All seats that are being contested in Harare were under the opposition MDC-T legislators before they were recalled for joining former secretary general, Mr Tendai Biti's MDC Renewal project.

Addressing party supporters at a rally to drum up support for Maduza in Kambuzuma, Kasukuwere said "It is time we return Harare to Zanu-PF and uplift the lives of our people because they are now with us all the way. The whole country is behind Zanu-PF and if you remain behind still thinking about Willias Madzimure (former MP), he has expired together with his party.".

"Just like (Mr Morgan) Tsvangirai, we gave him our daughter that he is still staying with and we gave him a house that he is renting because he has nothing to offer, so clearly the MDC party is dead and gone."
