An analyst has described President Robert Mugabe as a leader who is now much addicted to traveling such that when other leaders are busy transforming lives of their people he is just busy cross the world.

Butholezwe Nyathi said Mugabe's trips since the start of 2015 are cause for concern as to whether they benefit the nation of not.

"While other Presidents with functional countries stay home to improve the lives of their people, Mr Mugabe is flying all over.," he said. "I don't know what is wrong with that old man."

He said over the past two months, he was in South Africa twice, was in India a few days back, he is just from Mali and he understand he landed in Botswana this week.

"From the beginning of this year, he has been all over," said Nyathi. "What for, God knows. Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans benefit little or nothing out of these trips. I think he is just addicted to traveling at a huge cost to our country and future."

Mugabe has been accused of gobbling millions of dollars in his international trips at the time when the nation is struggling to secure funds for civil servants and service its departments. He arrived from Botswana yesterday (Wednesday) evening.
