A 52-year-old woman of no fixed abode reportedly used two different names in relationships with two men she was cohabiting with before stealing from them.

Angeline Zvaita is in court facing theft charges.

She denied the claims and was remanded in custody to June 5 by Mbare magistrate Stanford Mambanje.

The court heard that she led to Shongedzai Kambara that she was Kudzanai Gonyera.

She is alleged to have stolen two blankets, two jeans and a blouse on February 7 when Kambara had gone to Marondera.

Kambara is said to have returned and then she realised that Zvaita had fled and he tried calling her but he could not get hold of her.

On May 11, Zzaita went to on to steal a $55 trousers and three t-shirts from Ostrike Tavhuta whom she again cohabitating with.

Tavhuta reported the theft to the police leading to her arrest.

Prosecutor Percy Magaure said Zvaita was a flight risk hence she warranted to be kept in custody.
