Political commentator and journalist Methuseli Moyo has said there is a political hand surrounding the issue of ZIFA President Cuthbert Dube's expulsion from the football governing body.

This comes after the ZIFA national Council recently announced that Dube has been sucked amid hit back by other stakeholders and the interanation football governing body FIFA who have said the expulsion of Dube was null and void.

"IN as much as I am no fan of Zifa boss Cuthbert Dube, I support Fifa's position that his purported "recalling" through some extra ordinary general meeting is null and void simply because his opponents did not follow their own Zifa constitution," said Moyo.

"In as much as Dube's tenure has been characterised by chaos, feud, massive debts and poor results on the pitch, there is still need for people to follow due processes all the time."

Moyo said it is also clear that there are political hands in the chaos at Zifa.

"If you ask me, the same politicians who want Dube out are just as guilty as charged. Same as Dube," he said.

"They must also go. What have they done better than Cuthbert Dube?"
