Transmedia CEO, Mrs Florence Sigudu-Matambo said the $3 million transmitters will cover six of the 24 current transmitter sites.

"Under the digitalisation programme, 12 other transmitters will be acquired to cater for existing sites and new ones which are Kotwa, Hwange, Binga, Mapisa, Kariba and Chikombedzi. Zimbabweans must appreciate the work being done in digitalising the state broadcaster, ZBC as developed nations took years to undertake the process," he said.
