Man (35) wacthes daughter (15) bathing, rapes her

A 35 year old man admired the body of his 15 year old daughter while taking a bath and ended up raping her, a local court heard last week.

The man (name withheld to protect the minor) of Tovani School in Zaka District was found guilty on his own plea of guilty when he appeared before Masvingo magistrate Oliver Mudzongachiso facing rape charges .

He was remanded in custody to 1 June 2015 for sentencing.

Prosecutor Nancy Makuvise told the court that on May16 this year, around 11am, the girl was bathing and the father was peeping through the bathroom door while the minor took a bath.

The court heard that the peeping father then followed her daughter to her bedroom where he fondled her breasts telling her that she had the most beautiful body he had never seen in his lifetime.

As that was not enough, the court heard that the father then pulled the minor to the bed, pinned her and raped the minor once.

The court heard that the minor screamed for help but no one came to her rescue since there was no one at home.

After the abuse the minor was told not tell anyone but the minor quickly rushed to her grandmother's homestead were she narrated her ordeal and a police report was made leading to the arrest of the father.
