Paul Mangwana loses more than $100 000

FORMER Cabinet Minister Paul Mangwana lost over $100 000 to a business partner who withdrew money from their company's account without his knowledge, the magistrates' court heard today.
Mangwana, a legal practitioner, and Trevor Mvere are co-directors of Green Aid (Pvt).
It is alleged Mvere, a signatory to the account, fraudulently withdrew $115 619.
The 32-year-old Mvere today appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Tendai Mahwe charged with fraud.
He was granted $400 bail coupled with some stringent conditions.
As part of his bail conditions, Mvere was ordered to surrender his passport and to report once a week at CID Frauds.
He was also ordered to continue residing at his given address- 16 Spencer Cook flat, and not to interfere with witnesses until the matter is finalised.
