230MW Solar photovoltaic development opportunities in Zimbabwe

Renewable Energy company Oursun Energy is seeking potential partnership opportunities for a 230MW Solar Project in Zimbabwe.

The company announced that it is currently developing 230MWp Solar Project clusters of between1-5MWp grid connected plants.

"Electricity production in Zimbabwe is approximately 7.72billion kWh but demand is 12.47 billion kWh," said Oursun Energy.

"The solar project is 2300MW over the next 5 years and divided into 46X5MW. The total cost of the project is estimated to be a minimum of $360 million to about $400 million. UK companies are invited to submit further information regarding their capabilities."

The company encouraged those interested to to approach of call its offices for a partnership.

Zimbabwe faces serious power shortages leading to constant outages amid calls for private operators to join and produce power.
