A report by a Texas based private global think tank, Strategic Forecasting Inc. (Stratfor) says that VP Emmerson Mnangagwa has emerged as the front-runner to succeed President Robert Mugabe.
The report also says that his influence in the security forces enabled Zanu-PF to maintain power against MDC-T following the 2008 elections.
