CONSTITUENCIES that are under Zanu-PF control are entitled to  benefit from  government-funded projects and those under opposition parties will continue to suffer, vice presidents  Emmerson Mnangagwa and Phelekezela Mphoko have declared.

The two top officials made the declaration in Tsholotsho North on Sunday while campaigning for Information minister Jonathan Moyo.

Said  Mnangagwa : "For 20 years, we have had no Zanu-PF representation in Tsholotsho North, but let's not forget that Zimbabwe is a unitary State. It's one nation, we are one, we are all Zimbabweans.

"We are one family and that one family has been ruled by Zanu-PF since 1980. Why then do great children of this Tsholotsho North constituency not vote for a party that is ruling this country?" Mnangagwa queried.

"Why were you voting for those that are ruled (in apparent reference to MDC-T) and will never rule this country? Your complaints and problems will never be addressed by those that are ruled, but by the rulers."

He added: "Your complaints go to those in power and not those outside power. If you have a representative in politburo and the Cabinet, you are certain your grievances will be tabled to the rulers. Don't waste votes voting for those governed by the rulers."
