New traffic lights cause confusion in Harare

The new traffic lights (robots) installed at the intersection of Enterprise and Harare Roads is reportedly confusing drivers and causing traffic jam particularly in the morning and after hours
Harare Residents Trust reported that motorists get congested at the intersection due to unclear sequence that it presents.
"The recently introduced robots at the intersection of Enterprise and Harare Roads are welcome to all," said the Trust.
"Monday morning, at 7am was a nightmare for motorists driving into town along Enterprise road as the queue was from the intersection to Biston Road while there were a few cars on Harare Drive. The sequencing needs attention to avoid the queues as there is more traffic on the High Way-Enterprise Road."
The Trust warned the motorists to be worry of the hazards that might be associated with the intersection.
