The electoral court has dismissed an application by Hurungwe West by election candidate, Themba Mliswa to postpone elections in the constituency.
The ruling made by Justice Tendai Uchena means that people in Hurungwe West are free to exercise their democratic right by casting their ballot in tomorrow's by-elections.
Mliswa had approached the electoral court last week under a certificate of urgency to have the by-elections in Hurungwe West postponed.
He was accusing Zanu-PF and the party Secretary for Administration, Dr Ignatius Chombo of enlisting the services of the military to instil fear on the electorate in the constituency.
However, Justice Uchena said the matter is removed from the roll to allow 3rd and 4th respondents; Zanu-PF and Dr Chombo to respond to the court application by Mliswa.
Justice Uchena gave the respondents a 10 day period to respond to the court application by the applicant.
