22 year old plans to marry girlfriend (15)

A 22 year old Chitungwiza man shocked a court when he pleaded with the magistrate not to jail him after being convicted of sleeping with a 15 year old girl.
Revai Gumbojena said he had huge future plans with his girlfriend.
According to H-Metro, Gumbojena had gone to the extent of cohabiting with the minor.
"I have future plans with my girlfriend. I love her and I am willing to marry her if I am permitted to do so" he said.
The court heard that on June 1 around 2pm, Gumbojena invited her lover to his house.
The girl told her aunt whom she stays with that she was visiting a relative in Chitungwiza.
On June 4, the aunt received a tip off that her niece was cohabiting with Gumbojena and quickly filed a police report leading to his arrest.
In court, the magistrate sentenced Chitungwiza to 210 hours of community service.
