Opposition parties must budget for violent bases, torture chambers - Analyst

The Opposition Political parties have been challenged to brace themselves for the hard political times to face Zanu PF violent bases and torture chambers as the ruling party has gained inroads into the major cities.
Political Analyst Pedzisai Ruhanya said it will never be the same again for the opposition political parties who had a sizeable number of house of assembly members when that number was recently outnumbered by the Zanu PF numbers in parliament following the ruling party's win of 16 seats in the just ended June 10 by elections.
The MDC formations boycotted the polls demanding electoral reforms before any elections is conducted.
"Zanu PF has come to town (Harare, Kwekwe and Bulawayo) courtesy of a clumsy decision by MDC-T," said Ruhanya.
"The opposition must now budget for violent bases, torture chambers, huge patronage networks to be set up by Zanu PF as it defends its seats in 2018! As I write there is QUEEN OF GRACE ZIM ASSET TRUST set up by Zanu PF to bring all vendors in the Harare city center to Zanu PF all vendors are buying cards to join this group!"
