Brutal video: Cops urge couple to step forward

A video is circulating on WhatsApp showing an undressed couple being forced to engage in sex by five men in a bush. It is not clear as to where the incident took place. The men appears to be using a Shona like language but there is confusion as to which dialect it is.

The couple are then severely beaten and humiliated by the men. Police yesterday said they were appealing to the couple to come forward to help in the identification of the perpetrators.

"The two victims in this horrendous video are urged to come forward and report. Police will ensure that that the law takes its course on these unruly elements in society," national police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said.
