'My son beds his mother'

A MUTARE man stunned court officials recently when he revealed before a packed gallery that his son was engaging in sex with his wife - his mother.

Samuel Magada dragged his two sons - Kudakwashe and Simbarashe - to court seeking a protection order against them. He brewed a shocker when he revealed that his younger son, Simbarashe, was in the habit of sleeping with his mother whom he divorced last month.

Mutare magistrate, Mrs Anniah Ndiraya presided over the matter.

He told the court that Simbarashe was a total disgrace to him. Besides sleeping with his mother, he alleged that he emptied his Ecocash account and was also in the habit of stealing his chickens, eggs and property.

"He started all this when I left his mother, whom he is sleeping with because that was her behaviour as well," he said.

Simbarashe objected to his father's application and told the court that he harassed his father because he was the aggressor.

"He provokes me at times Your Worship and I retaliate. On one instance he accused me of sleeping with my mother.

"Can you believe such an abomination?

"My father does not want to see me visiting my mother in Hobhouse. Whenever I go there, he accuses me of engaging in sexual relations with her," he said.

Mrs Ndiraya asked him why he was still staying under his father's roof when he was already a major who is not supposed to be dependent on his father.

"Whenever I move out of my father's house he follows me and drags me back saying he needs me under his close watch because he loves me," claimed Simbarashe.

The court ordered him to stop being a burden to his father by moving out of the family house.

He was also advised to report to the courts if his father happened to follow him again.
