Notice on fraudulent selling of residential stands

The Harare City Council to day released an advertisement disassociate itself from some estate agents that are selling housing land allegedly on behalf of council. The council says that practice is very rampant in Budiriro.

"Council does not appoint third parties to sell housing land on its behalf. Any such transactions are illegal and will not be recognised by council."

"If anyone has bought such land they should not approach council but should go to the police for assistance for them to recover their money.

"Council sells housing land directly to residents," said the advert.
