Three Kadoma Cops up for bribery

Three police officers based in Kadoma have been arrested for demanding bribes from would be suspected so as the secure their freedoms amid praise directed to the government for making efforts to weed out corruption from the society.
The development was reported by Berina Community Radio Station which said police is fast proving that they are doing everything possible to weed out corruption.
"This was vindicated last Friday when three Kadoma Traffic Officers were busted along Kadoma - Patchway road," reported the station.
"The three, Sgt Tshuma, Const. Munyuru and Cst. Tsara were conducting a roadblock at the 11Km peg when a random search was conducted by the Police Internal Investigations Dept. It is alleged that Sgt Tshuma was found with $30.00 which was undeclared as per the Police rules."
Police officers have been long accused of fueling corruption instead of preventing it as they are the law enforcement agents who must be preventing citizens from doing an corrupt activities.
