Highfields water stinking

Residents in Highfields have complained over stinking water they are getting everyday despite the fact that they were not experiencing water shedding.

Harare Residents Trust said the development was posing a serious health risk to the residents.

"Residents in High-field Egypt said municipal water is available everyday but it produces a bad smell that residents now rely on borehole water for drinking," said the Trust.

"Boreholes in the area are only found at schools and they are given timetable to fetch water."
