A member of parliament Joyce Makonya has said all roadblocks should have toilets.

Makonya asked Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Ziyambi Ziyambi, where police officers relieve themselves at roadblocks.

"My question is directed to the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Hon Ziyambi Ziyambi. We have members of the ZRP who man the roadblocks and some are on the roads 24 hours. Where do they relieve themselves since there are no ablutions facilities where they will operating from?" she asked.

In response Ziyambi said the issue of toilets is an administrative.

"We as the Ministry of Home, our duty is to see it that the ZRP has done what they are supposed to do and to ensure that people are following the law.

"The issue of ablution facilities is something that should be done by their administrative managers and I can go and ask them if they are performing their duties and how well are they performing them," he said.
