Baba Jukwa follower now a free man

Romeo Musemburi, the University of Zimbabwe economics student charged with attempting to subvert a constitutional government was yesterday set free after charges were withdrawn by the State.

His lawyer Tonderai Bhatasara confirmed charges against his client had been withdrawn.

Musemburi was arrested in June last year for allegedly authoring a subversive statement and posting it on the phantom Facebook character Baba Jukwa's Gmail account that was interpreted to mean he was asking for weapons of war.
