Some sections of the MDC-T who are pushing for Morgan Tsvangirai to step down before the 2018 elections have started posting pro-Nelson Chamisa's presidency in 2018 amid concerns that the developments are likely to rip the party apart before the polls.

The group called Democracy Advocate Initiative represented by Celine Eunice posted on Facebook that Chamisa should be the MDC-T presidential candidate for 2018 elections.

"Nelson Chamisa for President 2018 anyone with me on this?" said Eunice.

"I think the he has leadership qualities. If given a chance,he can do better than those who complain about vote rigging all the time."

Revelations are that Chamisa lost any position during the MDC-T conghress because he was viewed as a threat to Tsvangirai's leadership, but however sections of the party are adamant that he has a potential to lead the party to victory and has the brains to run the nation better that any one else including President Robert Mugabe who has led the country into turmoil since 1980.
