Mujuru allies under siege

Sources said yesterday that Zanu-PF hardliners have resolved to completely destroy Joice Mujuru and her supporters.

The situation has been made worse by Morgan Tsvangrai's resolve to work with Mujuru and claims that Didymus Mutasa and others are threatening to spill the beans on Zanu-PF.

According to the sources the hardliners are targeting Mujuru and her allies for either criminal charges or financial ruin.

So far victims include Temba Mliswa who is facing criminal charges, the late Amos Midzi whose economic fortunes took a turn for the worse, and Didymus Mutasa who is under pressure to relinquish some of his properties.

Meanwhile, Mutasa Former Presidential Affairs Minister has vowed he was ready to go to jail for spilling Zanu-PF secrets after his ouster in December last year.

Mutasa has been warned in the State media that he risked arrest for alleged violating the Official Secrets Act after he revealed that Zanu-PF rigged the 2013 harmonised elections.
