Political analyst and Gwanda resident Bekezela Maduma Fuzwayo has lashed out at the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) for failing to give an account of all Vice President Joshua Nkomo's life history but choosing to dwell on what pleases the ruling Zanu PF which had hunted him down during the Gukurahundi era.

On Wednesday, Fuzwayo said he had been listening to all ZBC radio stations talking about Joshua Nkomo and all he could say to the "guys" at ZBC is that once they decide to talk about Joshua Nkomo they must tell people everything about him not this selective and distorted history.

"They speak as if Nkomo had a break in life between 1980 and 1987 yet in his life story he tells that this was the most difficult time of his life," said Fuzwayo.

"Distorting history does not change it. We were there we saw it. Tell it or not tell it we shall tell our children the exact history. If Nkomo was as good as he is proclaimed today why then were we petrol bombed in our house in Gwanda in 1984 deep in our sleep just because Nkomo had visited our home."

"Tell us as it is and all of it."

The ZBC always advertised the Nkomo anniversary through files where he was only talking about unity of the people of Zimbabwe and his attacks of the the colonial systems but never publish President Robert Mugabe's hunt for him and his supporters in the 1980s soon after independence.
