Harare Residents Trust is embarking of the assessment drive to establish the impact of the eviction of vendors from the streets amid revelations many of the traders are still conducting their business in the central business district despite the move.

The Trust said, "We have just had the occasion to go around the central business district to assess the immediate impact of the 'eviction' of vendors in order to put them in the designated vending sites. Evidently, they have only scratched the surface but have not moved anyone from the central business district."

The Trust asked as to how much resources have to be deployed to deal with vendors?

"Sorry, the question is; how much resources are available to permanently resolve the joblessness in Zimbabwe?" said the Trust. "Every citizen has a responsibility to know the Goliath and the Pharaoh of their time."

Government have mooted operations to remove all vendors from the streets especially those operating in un-designated places.
