Mnangagwa sucked into bribes scandal

VICE PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has been sucked into a bribery scandal that involves some of his close associates who have been demanding bribes from white commercial farmers.

These associates have been demanding bribes from people who were seeking an audience with him. One of the victims.

CFU CE Hendrick Olivier said last week that the associates were openly demanding bribes ranging from $500 upwards when farmers sought meetings with Mnangagwa.

Contacted for comment Mnangagwa said he did not know anything about it and that the police should investigate and anyone found guilty should be charged according to the laws.
