The Zanu-PF Mashonaland West provincial executive yesterday accused former acting provincial chairman Ziyambi Ziyambi of leaking party secrets to his expelled predecessor Temba Mliswa ahead of the June 10 by-election in Hurungwe West.
According to the Newsday, Zanu-PF provincial administration secretary Simbarashe Ziyambi also claimed that the no-confidence vote on Ziyambi was engineered by top party officials he declined to name.
Ziyambi was booted out of his post on Sunday shortly after he was dressed down by First Lady Grace Mugabe, who publicly accused him of treachery, insurbodination, dishonesty and sabotaging programmes particularly organised by the Women's League which she leads.
Ziyambi was replaced by newly-elected Hurungwe West MP Keith Guzah.
