Cut workers salaries for council to work properly - Residents Trust

Harare Residents Trust has called for the reduction of workers salaries saying that is the only means in which the council can be able to deliver services properly.

"Restoring sanity in the Harare City Council should start with a massive cut in salaries of senior managers," said the Trust.

"Targeting the vendors and illegal land occupiers should not be an event but a process, beginning with the council adhering to its own by-laws always. These half-baked interventions will not yield positive results."
