Man commits suicide over wife's make-up

A 20-year-old Zaka man, Shepherd Debe, allegedly hung himself after a dispute with his wife over her obsession for make-up.
Debe's 18-year-old wife, Lilian Mwadzikova was fond of applying nail polish and wearing make-up.
Debe locked himself in the couple's bedroom and took his own life on Sunday and his body was discovered by his wife on the same day.
Acting Masvingo Police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Nkululeko Nduna said no foul play is suspected.
A neighbour Anel Bere said Debe was having problems with his wife.
He said on the fateful day, Mwadzikova had applied nail polish.
Bere said a suicide note found in Debe's pocket indicated that he had killed himself because his wife had disrespected him.
