SNV to hold an Open Day to celebrate its 50th International Anniversary

On the 17th of July 2015, SNV Netherlands Development Organisation will be holding an Open Day to celebrate its 50th International Anniversary. Representatives from the Ministry of Small to Medium Enterprises and the Ministry of Agriculture, Mechanisation and Irrigation Development, as well as the Danish Embassy in Harare, have been invited to speak at the event.
SNV is a development organisation whose main focus includes empowering communities to break the cycle of poverty and guide their own development. It is involved in capacity building initiatives in Agriculture, Renewable Energy and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
The Open Day will also mark SNV Zimbabwe's 32nd Anniversary in the country. It will highlight the projects the organisation has undertaken as well as showcase the beneficiaries of these projects.
