Man kills prostitute over $30

A Harare man, 23, from Budiriro has appeared in court for allegedly murdering a prostitute he had hired for the night after accusing her of stealing his $30, The Herald reported.
The man, Pardon Mandunguza from Budiriro 5B in Harare, appeared in court facing murder charges.
He was remanded in custody to July 28.
It is alleged that on July 11 Mandunguza went to Changamire Night Club in Budiriro 5B, where he reportedly hired the now deceased, Unity Gondo (22), for the night.
Apparently Mandunguza took Gondo to his house and paid her $5.Its is reported that later that night Mandunguza noticed that his $30 was missing.
He confronted Gondo and struck her with an unknown object at the back of her head.
She bled profusely to death. Mandunguza allegedly carried the body and dumped it in a pit about 40 metres from his house.
The following day Mandunguza was seen burning Gondo's skin tight outfit and neighbours claimed that they saw him assaulting the woman.
He was arrested and a blood-stained pair of jean trousers was recovered from his house.
