Midzi's wife appointed executor, as another child resurfaces

The family of the late former Mines minister Amos Midzi has appointed his wife Alice to be the executor amid revelations that a daughter born out of wedlock has surfaced demanding to see his father's will and a share of his estate.

Midzi, who died last month of suspected poisoning, left behind three known children with his wife, but it has now emerged that he had twins outside wedlock with a woman called Lucia Makazhu although one of the siblings is now late.

Chido Makazhu (20) has approached the Master of High Court seeking to be enjoined with other beneficiaries in the distribution of the estate.
