Woman sues ex for disclosing her HIV+ status to the public

A Harare woman is suing her ex-husband accusing him of disclosing her HIV+ status to the public.
In her application filed at the Civil Court, Virginia Muchemwa claimed she ran away from their matrimonial home because Fungai Muteranduwa was in the habit of physically abusing her.
The matter was supposed to appear in court yesterday before magistrate Ms Audrey Tarugarira, but was struck off from the roll as both parties were in default.
"He once came to my house and assaulted me while holding a knife after he found me talking to a male friend," reads Muchemwa's application.
Muchemwa said she was now living in fear because of Muteranduwa's violent behaviour.
