Woman strips, pour petrol on herself resisting eviction

A Zvishavane woman - Sharon Machimbirike stripped and doused herself with petrol and threatened to set herself on fire if she was evicted.
Sharon had blocked the messenger of court from evicting her after the owners of the house - Shananie Mine instituted legal proceedings.
For her stunt - Sharon was slapped with an 18 month jail term.
According to B-Metro, on June 24, Sharon was issued with a two day eviction notice to vacate the house where she was staying with her husband.
When the messenger of court - Norbet Maverenga went to evict her, she stripped.
She later poured 5 litres of petrol and threatened to burn herself including the house.
Maverenga tried to reason with her but she ignored him.
