Prophet Magaya buys Grace Mugabe's biography for $50 000

A book chronicling the life of First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe in pictures was bought for $50 000 by Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries founder Prophet Walter Magaya after he outbid other potential buyers.

The bids for the book started at $5 000 during the First Lady's 50th birthday celebrations gala and fund-raising dinner held at the First Family's home in Borrowdale, Harare, on Saturday evening and spilled into the early hours of yesterday.

The book is titled "Amai Dr Grace Mugabe at 50" and has pictures depicting the various stages of the First Lady's life.

Proceeds from the fund-raising dinner would be distributed to several charity organisations this week to which Amai Mugabe is patron.

It was an interesting show as corporates and individuals competed to bid for the first copy.
