THREE Seventh-Day Adventist Church members died mysteriously within an hour after attending church camp in Goromonzi last week.
Kudakwashe Mandizvidza (14), Simon Lunga (20) and Debra Kapata (12) suffered convulsions after complaining of dizziness.
Harare police spokesperson Inspector James Sabau said a post-mortem could not establish the cause of death.
According to Insp Sabau, the three attended the camp without any complaints.
One of them felt dizzy while they awaited transport to ferry them to their home in Ruwa at the close of the event.
"The third victim collapsed, had convulsions and frothed on the mouth. She died on arrival at Ruwa Rehabilitation Centre," he said.
"The second deceased complained of the same symptoms and within moments he collapsed and also had convulsions.
"While people were looking for transport to ferry him to hospital, the first deceased collapsed and complained of dizziness. He also felt hot.
"As he removed his shirt, he suffered convulsions. The two were ferried to a 24-hour clinic in Ruwa where they were pronounced dead on arrival."
