Police officer assaults pregnant woman with baton stick

A 26-year-old female cop allegedly assaulted her brother's pregnant girlfriend with a baton in a bid to evict her from the house.
Michelle Masunda, 18 told the court that she sustained injuries when her boyfriend's sister Margaret Gurumani assaulted her.
"I am pregnant with my boyfriend's child and I am 18 years old. When I found out I was pregnant I eloped to my boyfriend's family house.
"On the day in question, I returned home from writing my Mathematics exam and upon my arrival Margaret said I was supposed to go back to my parents place.
" My mum the said I was supposed to go back where I was staying and when I returned that was when she started beating me up".
She added " She is a police officer by profession so she then wore her uniform and helmet and went to take a baton stick and started assaulting me,'.
However, Margaret through her lawyer denied the accusations saying on the day in question she had no baton stick as they are not allowed to take them home after work.
