Woman drags hubby's small house to court

A Harare woman fed up by her hubby's lover who constantly calls her at night insulting her has dragged the woman to court suing her for verbal abuse.

Marcia Mhaka went to the Civil Court seeking a peace order against her husband lover- Getrude Lupindi.

"I need her to stop sending insulting texts and calling me at odd hours. She tells me she has taken over my home and husband and I should return to the rural areas," said Mhaka.

"When she calls, my husband actually advises me not to take her calls as he has since ended their affair.

"She should realise he does not love her anymore' she said to magistrate Trevor Nyatsanza.

In response, Lupindi said she never texted her.

"I have never called her or texted her as she is claiming. She is the one who actually calls me telling me I am a prostitute.

"My boyfriend also tells me not to pick her calls. I have a child with her husband and she should realise I am getting married to him soon."

However, magistrate Nyatsanza granted Mhaka the  peace order.
