'I can't stand but Mugabe trusts me,' says Mahofa

Shuvai Mahofa Masvingo Provincial Affairs minister has defended her appointment by President Robert Mugabe saying although she can hardly stand up, the Zanu-PF leader has faith in her.

She said Mugabe knew she was development oriented.

Her appointment was met with missed feelings after she requested that her office at Benjamin Burombo Government Complex be shifted from the second floor to the ground floor because she could not climb the stairs due to ill health and old age.
