Zim to host Fourth Southern Africa Journalists Association congress

Zimbabwe will, this year host the fourth Southern Africa Journalists Association (SAJA) congress for two days this week, it has been learnt.

Zimbabwe Union of Journalists (ZUJ) announced that all is set for the Fourth Southern Africa Journalists Association, SAJA congress which will be hosted by the Zimbabwe Union of Journalists, ZUJ, starting this Friday from 7 to 8 August  in Harare.

"The gathering of Secretary Generals and Presidents of Unions and Associations of Journalists in Southern Africa will be preceded by a seminar on Freedom of Association," said ZUJ.

"There will be special sessions on Climate Change Journalism and the Importance of using visuals such as Pictures, Cartoons and Documentaries in highlighting Human Rights stories. Congress will be held on the last day."
