Sunningdale residents cry foul over non collection of garbage

Harare's Sunningdale Residents have cried foul that the Harare City Council has not been collecting garbage for the past week amid fears there would be outbreak of diseases in the area.

Harare Residents Trust said in Sunningdale the bins were not collected for three weeks.

"The City of Harare has not explained why this is happening," said the trust.

Many local authorities are failng serious challenges in Zimbabwe in collecting garbage due to shortage of trucks and funds to fuel the vehicles.
